There is nothing wrong,
so relax! We're still open, and will continue to be even more so in the near future!
I graduated with my culinary degree from Yorktowne Business Institute on 10/10/13, and this was
after years of working at our former restaurant in New Cumberland, teaching externs from the college and trying to build up
our catering business all while finishing school myself. In the meantime, we were vendors at the York Fair, Bloomsburg
Fair, the Keystone Annual BBQ Cook-off at the Farm Show (twice) as well as the Central PA's Food Bank "Taste of Central
PA" at Harrisburg's Strawberry Square, (also our second year as participants), and we've had catering oportunities
ranging from private fine dining socials to Section-8 housing to large outdoor corporate events.
I am certified in Nutrition by the American Restaurant Association, and we've been working with our new Responsible
Choices menu to provide a healthier alternative for elderly and health conscious customers while maintaining the same quality
and uncommonly good flavors you've come to expect from us.
We have catered cuisine diverse enough to include whole roasted turkeys, our own hand-cured pastrami and prime rib
to Scottish, Middle Eastern, Slovakian and Indian dishes. Beth and I even made some classic French pastry that was served
at events, and we can't wait to unveil the new wood-fired brick pizza oven.
course we still and always will make the best BBQ on the planet, but we are relishing the opportunity to do so much more now
that we're all out of school!
Needless to say, I'm going
to need some time to rebuild the site to reflect our new directions in food service, but we're absolutely open for business!
